Is it time for a Cleanse?

Well, the year is almost over and I’ve been thinking since I am about to start my first challenge of the year with a group of 10 amazing women, it may be a good idea to give myself a good jumpstart.  I’m going to do the 3 day Shakeology Cleanse.

Cleanses are great when you want to get your insides back to a normal and stable state, to aid in detoxification, and to help jumpstart weightloss. I will note that The Shakeology Cleanse isn’t meant to used a main weight loss solution. Yes, people do experience some weight loss, feeling lighter, and lost inches in the waist, but much of it is from the cleansing of the excess waste in the colon and intestines.  Remember, there are no shortcuts to weightloss, but a Cleanse can definitely help and at the end of the day healthy weight loss is attained with consistent exercise and good nutrition.

If you are about to start my New Year, New You Fitness Challenge or if you have decided to make January 2012 the kick off for your new workout regimen or program, doing a Cleanse might be very helpful. Especially, because of the caloric restriction of the Cleanse, it is best that you don’t engage in intense workouts.
