Small Steps create BIG Results

Remember to set realistic goals. This will keep you from getting discouraged when you are working towards improving your health and fitness. For example, if you have never run a day in your life, don’t decide that you want to run a marathon within 30 days.  However, if you start off with walking every day for 10 minutes and increasing your workout by 5 minutes each week until you get to 45 minutes, you will be one step closer to your marathon.  Then, you could start to run 5 minutes of those 45 minutes and begin to increase it each week, until you are running for 45 minutes a few times a week. Then you continue to add minutes to your workout each week or even add the mileage.   The point I’m trying to make is that you should focus on making small changes each day and each week, because those small steps can lead to BIG RESULTS.
