Many people start off each month with big goals and things that they want to achieve. They get all pumped up and have the right mindset to be successful. However, the one thing that trips them up and keeps them from reaching that success is that they are not consistently pursuing that goal on a daily basis. If you want to reach your goals, it will require you to make your goals a priority and do everything in your power to hold yourself accountable to reaching that goal. This will in turn, ensure that you are consistent in your pursuit.
Write down the goals that you want to achieve this month. Next, write down all of the activities that you will need to do on a daily and weekly basis to make it happen. For example, if you say that you want to lose 5 pounds this month, some things that you should do on a daily basis are:
- Drink 64 Ounces of Water
- Eliminate Junk Food and processed foods
- Eat a healthy breakfast, instead of skipping breakfast or eating a donut
- Workout for 30 minutes 5 days a week
The fact is that if you do these things consistently, every single day, you would have results. Actually, you would have amazing results. Why? Because you are focusing on doing the vital things, consistently, that will lead you to reaching your goals. The great thing about it, is that eventually, these things will become like second nature to you and you will begin to do them naturally, without even thinking about it.
Whatever goals you have for yourself, don’t just say them or write them down. Also, take some time to write out the behaviors, tasks, and activities that you need to do on a daily and weekly basis to reach your goals. Your success will be directly dependent on how consistent you will be.
