3 Tips to Stay on Track during the Weekends

Happy Friday! Most people do so well during the week with eating healthy and working out, but when the weekends come, we fall off and succumb to eating like crap and not working out.  The weekends tend to be difficult, because, we are off our of weekly schedules.  Most of cater our workouts, meals, even our water intake based on our work days, when the weekends come, all bets are off.

Here are 3 tips that I have that help me to stay on track and they may be able to help you:

  1. Do something fun & active: Change things up and do something new and fun, that will burn some calories.
  2. Stay on track with your eating schedule: Don’t let the flexibility cause you to mess up your eating schedule. If you eat every 2-3 hours (which is what I do), stick with that. The food choices may be a bit different on the weekends, but keep the small meals every 2-3 meals going during the weekends, instead of hoarding calories over big meals.
  3. Drink your water: Take your water bottle with you and keep filling it up throughout the day.
