Today kicks off my 60 Day Training for my newest coaches who decided to turn their passion for fitness by becoming a Beachbody Coach. If you have ever thought about owning your own business and becoming an entrepreneur who not only works on getting healthy and fit, as well, as helping others to do the same, there is still space open my 60 Day Training. Over the next 60 days, we will work together to focus how to get your business started, how to grow and market your business, and how to get on track to make six figures.  To be honest, I never thought that this would be something I would be passionate about, but here I am, loving every minute of it.

Power Protein Breakfast

20130613-103857.jpgMany people know that I drink Shakeology every morning, but today it was rainy and gray out and I wanted something more comforting.  I still had my Shakeology, but just used it differently.  I like to have a protein packed breakfast, especially after a workout because it helps with building more muscle, fuels my body, and keeps me full until lunch.

Many people tend to skip breakfast because they think that it will help them to lose weight or make the excuse that they don’t have time.  Well, I’m telling you, it is CRITICAL that you eat breakfast every single day.  Don’t skip it, because it messes up your metabolism and studies have found that people eat like crap throughout the day if they don’t eat breakfast at all or choose to eat an unhealthy/fatty/sugary breakfast.  Here is my breakfast today that was super quick to make and super filling.

Power Protein Breakfast:

  • Plain Greek Yogurt with Frozen Mixed Berries and a 1/2 scoop of Greenberry Shakeology
  • 3 Egg Whites with 1 yolk topped with grilled chicken and a tblsp of salsa
  • Cup of Rooibos tea with a splash of unsweetened almond milk.

Day 15: Fit Test #2

Yesterday I completed my second Fit Test with Insanity. I was happy to say that I saw improvements in every category.  My cardio has really improved and I was shocked at how well I was able to do the moves and my form was much better than the first time around. Actually, everyone in my Fitness Challenge saw improvements in their Fit Test.  It goes to show that if you stick with Insanity and stay committed it can really help you change your body.

  • Switch Kicks: 129 (113)
  • Power Jacks: 48 (47)
  • Power Knees: 96 (91)
  • Power Jumps: 35 (33)
  • Globe Jumps: 11 (10)
  • Suicide Jumps: 17 (15)
  • Push-Up: 22 (20)
  • Low Plank Oblique: 62 (56)

While I was doing the low plank obliques, I could see how my legs and abs were beginning to lean out. It was a pretty cool angle! I’m still pumped about the program and knowing that I’m almost done with the first month is exciting, but I’m also anxious to get started on Month 2, which is even more intense.  That is when I know that I will see big improvements in my body and my cardio will INSANE!

Well today is Plyo Cardio Circuit and I’m actually sore from the Fit Test, so this should be interesting. Wish me luck!

My next challenge will start on January 7th and it will be a ChaLEAN Machine Challenge. That means any Chalene Johnson program can be used for this 60 day challenge. It should be a good time, I’ll be doing TurboFire, but she has many other programs. To learn more click on the Fitness tab of this blog to check out the different programs.

So this is so cool! I finally swallowed my pride and put this blog together! I mainly wanted to create this blog because I want to be able to share as much as I can in order to help as many people as I can. I will post tons of information, but also to bring you all along with me on my journey to live a healthy and fit lifestyle.
